Ramadan-raseri 2019: Radikale muslimer massakrerer 364, skader 404 på to uker

Tallene betyr at jihadister i gjennomsnitt har drept 25 mennesker og skadet ytterligere 30 hver dag siden muslimenes hellige måned, Ramadan, begynte ved solnedgangen den 5. mai. I 2019 varer Ramadan til solnedgang den 4. juni.

Drapstallene dekker perioden 6. mai til 19. mai.

Tallene inkluderer totalt 768 ofre, 364 dødsfall, 404 skadde i 14 land: Afghanistan, Benin, Burkina Faso, Tsjad, Egypt, Irak, Pakistan, Kenya, Somalia, Libya, Mali, Nigeria, Pakistan og Syria.

Grupper som Taliban og IS leder an i drapsorgiene på uskyldige og mennesker de mener er «urene» eller har «feil tro».

De to muslimske gruppene oppfordrer på sine sosiale medier tilhengere og andre muslimer til å utføre drap og terror, og at man får får ekstra belønning ved å drepe utro, kristne og ikke-muslimer akkurat i Ramadan-måneden.

De aller fleste ofrene er allikevel andre muslimer i Midtøsten og Afrika.
